DAY 01 :MARAVILA
Start Maravila.
DAY 2 GIRITALE
Drive to Giritale. Afternoon free to relax by the tank (lake).
DAY 3 SIGIRIYA
Visit the ancient capital city of Polonnaruwa. Continue to Sigiriya and climb the great rock fortress.
DAY 4 :SIGIRIYA
Morning elephant ride (optional). Drive towards the hills, stopping at the cave temple of Dambulla and Matale spice garden, then on to Kandy.
DAY 5 :KANDY
A full day in and around Kandy, including a visit to the Temple of the Tooth, a gem factory and the magnificent botanical gardens. There is time to explore the town or relax at the hotel.
DAY 6 PINNEWALA
Visit the elephant orphanage at Pinnewala.
DAY 7:KITULGALA
Morning drive to Kitulgala; jungle walks, swimming and white-water rafting.
DAY 8 NUWARA ELIYA
Morning activities in Kitulgala and then on to Nuwara Eliya, a favourite British hillstation, visiting a tea plantation en route.
DAY 9 :HORTON PLAINS
Early morning drive to Horton Plains and walk to the dramatic 'World's End' escarpment. Return to Nuwara Eliya and visit the town.
DAY 10 Tissamaharama.
Beautiful drive past waterfalls and tea plantations to the Ella Gap and then descend from the hills to
DAY 11 Yala N.P.
Early morning game drive in Yala N. P. with possibilities of seeing wild elephant, boar and buffalo. Coastal drive to Tangalla.
DAY 12 Tangalla
A day to relax on the idyllic beach at Tangalla.
DAY 13 Galle
Coastal drive to Galle; free afternoon to explore the famous fort of this historic town.
DAY 14 Colombo
Visit a turtle hatchery and then continue to Colombo, arriving mid-afternoon.
DAY15 End Colombo.
