DAY 01 DELHI
Today upon arrival you will be welcomed with a Garland at
the Airport. Later transfered to the Hotel. Rest of the
Day free for own activities.Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 2: DELHI
Morning combined sightseeing tour of Old Delhi & New
Delhi, visiting Birla Temple, Jama Mosque, Red Fort,
RajGhat, Gandhi Museum, Humayun Tomb, Qutub Minar, drive
through India Gate and also visit the President House and
the Parliament House. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY
03 DELHI- MANDAWA
Drive to Mandawa castle visiting the Samode Palace en
route, arriving in time for lunch. Also visit the bazaar
and its many havelis decorated with frescoes.
DAY 4 MANDAWA- BIKANER
After
breakfast drive on to Bikaner arriving in time for lunch
at LalgarhPalace Hotel. Bikaner, founded in 1488 A.D., is
surrounded by a high embattlement wall. In the afternoon
visit the fort and the palace.
DAY 5 BIKANER - JAISALMER
This
morning travel on to the ancient desert town of Jaisalmer.
Afternoon walk through the cobbled streets with
magnificent havelis. Overnight at Jaisalmer.
DAY 6 JAISALMER
In
the morning visit the hilltop fort and ancient 12th
century Jain temples. Evening enjoy camel ride at the Sam
Sand Dunes. Overnight at Jaisalmer.
DAY 7 JAISALMER -JODHPUR
After
breakfast travel to Jodhpur, on the southern edge of the
Thar Desert Jodhpur was founded in 1459 A.D. by Rao Jodha.
In the afternoon visit themagnificent 15th century fort
and the Umaid Bhavan Palace the current residence of the
Maharaja and also a hotel. Overnight at Jodhpur.
DAY 8:JODHPUR-MANDORE-JODHPUR
Visit Mandore in
the morning. Afternoon free to explore the narrow,
bustling streets and bazaars of the old city. Overnight at
Hotel.
DAY 9:JODHPUR/UDAIPUR
Today
you will make a drive towards Udaipur via Ranakpur famous
for its mostbeautiful Jain Temple in India- to the Lake
city Udaipur. Lunch at Maharani Bagh Orchard.Over- night
at hotel.
DAY 10 UDAIPUR
Udaipur was founded by Maharaja Udai Singh in 1567 A.D.
and today is still very much a traditional Rajput town.
Visit Jagdish temple and the grand City Palace which
overlooks Pichola Lake. Afternoon free. Stay at Udaipur.
DAY 11 UDAIPUR- AJMER
Today
you will make a Drive towards Ajmer.Upon arrival you will
make a Sightseeing Tour of Ajmer Visiting Dargah
Sharif,Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra.Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 12: AJMER/JAIPUR
Today you will make a Drive Towards Jaipur enroute
enjoying Elephant Ride at AMBER fort.Overnight at Hotel
DAY 13: JAIPUR
Today you will make a Sightseeing Tour of Jaipur Visting
City Palace, Palace of Winds Observatory. In the evening
you will enjoy Rajasthan’s ethnic Village (i.e) Chokhi
Dhanni. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 14: JAIPUR/AGRA
Toda you will make a Drive towards Agra enroute Visiting
Fatehpur Sikhri.Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 15: AGRA
Today you will make a Sightseeing Tour of Agra Visiting
Taj Mahal Built by Shahjahan in the memory of His beloved
wife Mumtaz Mahal,Agra Fort, Sikandra. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 16 Agra- ORCHHA - KHAJURAHO
Morning transfer to railway station once again to board
Shatabdi Express to leave for Jhansi. Upon arrival drive
to Orchha for lunch and absorb the magnificence of this
one-time center of the Bundela Kings before proceeding to
Khajuraho. Overnight at hotel at Khajuraho.
DAY 17 KHAJURAHO
Morning tour the famous Chandela dynasty temples built in
the 10th and 11th centuries, noted for their erotic facets
of the Kama Sutra. The afternoon is at leisure. Overnight
at hotel.
DAY 18 KHAJURAHO - VARANASI
Morning transfer to airport to leave by flight for
Varanasi, one of the holiest cities in India. On arrival
transfer to Hotel. An afternoon tour gives you an
introduction to this sacred city.
DAY 19 VARANASI-DELHI
An early morning boat ride on the Ganges. Later proceed to
Sarnath, where Buddha preached his first sermon and a new
religion was born. Evening transfer to airport to leave
by flight for Delhi to fly back home.
