Arrival at Delhi airport in the morning, you will be escorted to your hotel by one of our representatives. Check-in at the hotel, freshen up for the day ahead. On the first day in Delhi, cover the tourist attractions in Old Delhi. Visit Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid Mosque, Red Fort, Jantar Mantar, Shri Laxmi Narayan Temple, Raj Ghat, Qutub Minar Complex and Humanyun’s Tomb. Return to your hotel for dinner. Rest and charge up for the next day.
After a hearty Indian breakfast, set out to explore New Delhi. Visit India Gate, Lodhi Garden, National Museum of India, Connaught Palace, Lout Temple, Akshardham Temple, Hauz Khas Village. You will have the rest of the evening to explore Delhi or revisit your favorite spots. Try local Indian cuisine and enjoy Delhi’s street food. Return to your hotel for the evening.
Have an early breakfast at the hotel. Leave for a 459 km drive to Amritsar from Delhi. Have lunch on the way. Reach Amritsar in the evening and check-in to your hotel. Relax for the rest of the night and enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Begin your day with a visit to the Golden Temple and participate in making your breakfast the ‘langar’ style. After a hearty breakfast langar (meal in punjabi), visit Jallianwala bagh, garden where the Jallianwala massacre took place on 13th April, 1919. After paying homage to the martyrs, head on to Wagah border to enjoy the Beating Retreat Ceremony, a collaborated parade of Pakistani and Indian soldiers, filled with pompous music and dance. End the day with a dinner langar at Durgiana Temple. Get back to your hotel for the night.
After having amritsari breakfast at the hotel, leave for sightseeing. Visit the Partition Museum, made in remembrance to the atrocities that took place during India-Pakistan partition. Followed by a visit to Khairuddin Mosque, Gobingarh fort, Statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and Hall bazar. End the day with local Amritsari street food and punjabi cuisine. Relax for the night at the hotel.
After an early Punjabi breakfast at the hotel, depart for a 201 km drive to Dharamshala. Check -in to your hotel and get ready for sightseeing with comfortable shoes for walks on high slopes. Visit Dalai lama temple complex, Gyuto monastery, Sherabling monastery, tibetan museum and Norbulika institute. End the day with a warm supper at the hotel.
After a fulfilling breakfast at the hotel, get ready for a day out in the mountains. Visit Namgyal Monastery, where the famous Tibetan personality, the fifth Dalai Lama resides. Followed by a visit to Aghanjar mahadev temple, Kangra fort, Bhagsunag waterfall, Naddi view point. Retret back to your hotel in the evening.
Have an early breakfast at the hotel and leave for a 231 km drive to Manali. Arrive and check-in at your hotel in Manali. Visit the famous Hadimba Temple. Experience the nightlife and street food at the Mall road of Manali. Get back to your hotel and rest for the night.
After an early breakfast, visit Rohtang Pass and enjoy its scenic drive filled with snow-laden mountains. Get back to the hotel for lunch and freshen up. Depart for a 242 km drive to Shimla. Reach Shimla in the evening and check-in to your hotel, have dinner and rest for the night.
Have a warm breakfast at the hotel, visit Christ Church, Viceregal lodge, scandal point, Lakkar bazar and the mall road of Shimla. Experience the local culture and cuisine. Get back to your hotel for dinner.
After breakfast at the hotel in Shimla, drive back to Delhi for your departure at the Delhi airport.
